Empezamos nueva era de compartir conocimientos sobre SIMAPRO y Competencias, con la tecnologia WEB 2.0. Mas de 20 videos con experiencias a lo largo de 6 anos, la mayoria expuestas en las reuniones RED, pueden verse de manera directa en la computadora sin tener la necesidad de bajarlos. Tambien pueden colocar comentarios sobre el video y subir videos suyos al portal. Esperemos que les entusiasma igual como a nosotros! (requiere de banda ancha)

ad 2.
Estamos planeando la XII Reunion RED SIMAPRO y Trabajo Decente en la Ind Azucarera. Avances al respecto:
a. se realizara en Cordova, Veracruz;
b. fecha tentativa: 19 y 20 de abril 2007
b. se esta concretando el apoyo del Ingenio Central Progreso, CONALEP y Cecati
c. puntos centrales de la agenda:
La industria ante la apertura TLC 2008; convertir SIMAPRO en herramienta de gestión; revision indicadores SIMAPRO para centrarlos en BPM, Seguridad en el Trabajo, Mantenimiento; el rol del supervisor en la gestion SIMAPRO; un papel mas activo del Sindicato.
ad 3.
En dias recientes se dio inicio a la Red SIMAPRO en el sector Turismo, en el marco del acuerdo CROC-Coparmex. Con representantes de la cadena de hoteles Camino Real y Grupo Intercontinental (El Presidente) y especialistas de la CROC, se realizo una reunion-taller sobre los objetivos y la vision que sostiene el SIMAPRO en el contexto de la economia de conocimiento y el trabajo decente que promueve la OIT. Para fines de abril se planea realizar un taller de 3 dias sobre la metodologia SIMAPRO para los que seran los lideres de la aplicacion en sus respectivas organizaciones.
Se esta gestionando el inicio de SIMAPRO en el sector de autopartes, especialmente en el Estado de Sonora, involucrando al sindicato (CTM) y la gerencia de las empresas.
En Chile se esta haciendo los primeros pasos para arrancar el SIMAPRO en el sector fruticola.
ad 4.
Inscripcion abierta para el proximo curso de Gestion de Recursos Humanos por Competencias, con un enfoque integral y dinamico. Organiza el Centro de Formacion de la OIT en Turin. La sede del curos es Turin (primera semana) y Madrid (visita a empresas, segunda semana). Fechas: 21 de mayo al 3 de junio del 2007. Mayores informaciones sobre la inscripcion:

We started a real new interactive sharing technology, WEB 2.0! Here you can watch, learn and contribute: more than 20 videos on ProMES and Competency Management. Most are summaries of presentations in the Network Meetings, but also you'll find interviews with stakeholders. We hope you'll enjoy and find it useful! (broad band required)

ad 2.
The next XI Network Meeting ProMES in the sugar industry is being planned:
a. Place: Cordova, Veracruz, Mexico
b. Proposed Date: 19-20 April
c. Support: Sugar Mill Central Progreso, training institutions CONALEP and Cecati
d. Central Agenda items:
The NAFTA 2008 opening-up of agriculture markets; how to transform ProMES into a management tool; revision of indicators: food safety management (HACCP); health and safety at the workplace; maintenance; the role of the supervisor in the system; how to get the union more involved.
ad 3.
New initiatives on ProMES are underway:
a. last week an initial seminar on objectives, vision and principles was held with representatives from tourism sector (2 major hotel chains - Camino Real, Intercontinental Group) and from union side. A technical seminar is planned by end of April.
b. preparatives of starting ProMES in auto parts industry in Northern Mexico
c. first steps are made of starting ProMES in fruit-sector in Chile
ad 4.
Next course on Competency Based Human Resource Management from an integral and dynamic perspective (Spanish lenguage), organised by ILO Centre Turin, will start on May 21. One week in Turin and one week in Madrid, visiting firms and corporations with experience in this field.
