Recientemente se acordo entre empleadores y sindicato el Reglamento de Modernizacion de la Industria Azucarera en su Componente Laboral. En este marco la OIT (Oficina Mexico, Turin y CINTERFOR) inició un proyecto sobre gestión por competencias integrales, de manera simultanea en 11 ingenios del sector. Se articula en este esfuerzo con el CONOCER, la STPS, el INEA (educ adultos) y el CONACYT. El proposito del proyecto es crear una capacidad para gestionar internamente un sistema de formación por competencias en cada uno de los ingenios, orientada a la mejora de la productividad y condiciones de trabajo. El 4 de diciembre se realizara la primera reunion RED SIMAPRO en el sector Turisimo, organizado por la OIT-Mexico y el CINTERFOR. Se llevara a acabo en el Hotel Villas el Conquistador, Cuernavaca, Mexico. Habran experiencias de la aplicacion de SIMAPRO en dicho hotel, en el hotel Presdiente Chapultepec (conjuntamente empresa y sindicato), hoteles de República Dominicana (Palladium) con el soporte de INFOTEP y en el subsector de la gastronomia (Fonda San Angel, Mexico). Los días 20 y 21 de noviembre se realizara la V Reunion RED SIMAPRO y Capital Humano en la Ind Azucarera en Cuba. Se llevara a cabo en la cuidad Cienfuegos. Mas info: http://simaprogrupo.ning.com

In the framework of a national bargaining agreement, the ILO (Mexico Office, Turin, CINTERFOR) started a project on integral competency management in the sugar industry in Mexico. It attains simultaneously 11 plants, which are involved in a sharing learning processes on competency based management, oriented on productivity and working conditions enhancement. National training bodies, science and technology lead body and social institutions (against addictions) are involved. See further: http://competenciasazucar.ning.com

The first ProMES Network Meeting in Tourism Industry will be held on December 4, Hotel Villas el Conquistador,Cuernavaca, Mexico. It is organised by the ILO (Mexico Office, CINTERFOR), the local hotel association and trade unions of the sector.
